Mission Trip Supply List
What to Bring
Since our stay is going to be brief, everything must be in small sizes.
- Toiletries: Shampoo, soap, razors, toothpaste, toothbrushes, antibacterial swipes, insect repellet
- Big Water Bottle
- Bible for devotionals
- Snacks: Energy bars or small healthy energy drinks
- Clothes to wear: (light clothes). Old clothes are better since you can give it away before coming back.
- Backpacks: to carry Bibles, soccer balls, and evangecubes
- Hats: To protect you from the sun.
- Sunglasses: Make sure don’t take expensive ones ($20 or less)
- Sunscreen
- Money: You will need money only to pay for food when we are on the road. When crossing to Mexico, you should have no more than $10 and make sure you have them in $1 bills. We do suggest that you give a healthy offering for the church plant (at Sunday service)! If more than $100, make check payable to FTK so that you don’t have to carry that much cash with you! FTK will deliver the offering when check is cashed!
- Flash lights: Only for emergencies (optional)
- Insect Repellent: be sure you get one that contains DEET
- Essential Meds: Aspirin or Allergy but only necessary ones
Items to have in our Backpacks when we go to the field
- 3-4 Members per Team – all need to have back packs
- 1 member carries Bibles and notebook to write name of people saved!
- 1 member carries soccer balls or evangelism tools and portable pump
- 2 members carry suckers and humanitarian stuff (shoes, clothes, toys and so on)
All team members are to carry water, anti-bacterial wipes, and snacks
